RETREATS

Temple of Purity

To face and overcome the current challenges within our community, it's imperative to establish a clear vision and a solid plan that guides us toward a gentle yet significant and impactful transformation. At the heart of this vision lies the 'Temple of Purity,' a deeply symbolic name given to our maloca, the space where medicine ceremonies take place. This temple isn't just a physical space but the nucleus from which the various organs of our community are nourished and revitalized. It's the source of inspiration and purity that drives and gives life to essential areas such as education, music, architecture, construction, and all the powerful organs of the community. From this epicenter, a beneficial influence radiates, nurturing and strengthening the surrounding ecosystem, extending its impact beyond our physical boundaries, reaching out to the external world.
Step-by-step to participate
For Ambi, it's crucial that each participant receives personalized attention. In each retreat, we open a maximum of 14 spots. Once we receive the form, we assess health conditions, medications, or any particular situations that might have contraindications with Ayahuasca.

We ensure that the intention and purpose of each interested person align with our capacities as facilitators.Upon approval of the application, we send an email containing information to complete the registration and reserve the spot through payment.

Once payment is received, we provide a document explaining which foods should be avoided in the diet for proper preparation and necessary directions to reach the territory.

What is Ayawaska

Ayawaska is an ancient medicine used in a specific context, with special care in the environment, guidance, and respect that accompanies it, including the preparation. These care and instructions, passed down from generation to generation, make this therapeutic practice an ancestral science. The benefits of taking Ayahuasca are vast; it's sought because of the need to comprehend beyond the reality we've experienced and to break free from a state of numbness that begins to trouble us.

The primary purpose of this medicine is to reconnect humans with their "Essential Being," awakening their perceptual potential, sensitizing and bringing awareness to the state of health in each part of their physical, mental, and spiritual body. It's a therapeutic tool for diagnosing and treating ailments and has become the foundation of traditional medicine for over 75 different tribes in the Amazon. It has expanded to various regions worldwide, offering healing where modern medicine has sometimes failed.

AYAWASKA / The Medicine of Rebirth

Understanding the Cause, Reaching the Root:
Most diseases and ailments manifest as blockages or "knots" in a person's energy, where excessive or insufficient energy creates an imbalance in the overall system. Throughout our lives, this often occurs due to trauma in its various forms. Shock trauma, often the result of abuse, attack, or loss, is one form, but trauma can arise from many common life events: surgery, accidents, illnesses, injuries, relationships, financial difficulties, cultural and social pressures, betrayal, or anger from those closest to us, even issues from birth that we might not realize, just to name a few.

With the help of Ayahuasca, we can address and correct these energies through healing and reconnection processes, allowing us to enter a state of clarity and harmony. It enables us to be willing to make the necessary changes for true transformation, leading to a life of balance and fulfillment. In our community, we've experienced the healing of individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, addiction, cancer, and autoimmune diseases, among others. We've witnessed families and couples on the brink of collapse recover from chaos into clarity, forgiveness, and compassion. Ayahuasca is a tool nature provides us to learn to live consciously, in health, joy, integrity, and abundance.

Jerónimo Delgado Giraldo

"I was born in a healing household, where my parents taught me from a young age to see illness as a tool for transformation, allowing us to grow and continue evolving when approached with respect and love. Sixteen years ago, I encountered the sacred Yagé plant, and from that moment, I knew I had found my place on Earth.

I dedicated myself to learning its proper usage under the guidance of a native family from the Inga people in Putumayo. Thanks to their support, especially that of my Taita Henri Muchavisoy, I now take on the responsibility of carrying this legacy and joyfully sharing the healing and messages of this wonderful gift from nature around the world. This work is made possible by the community's purpose, by the brothers and sisters who converge around this medicine, preparing ourselves with discipline to share as a tribe and serve humanity with dedication."

Preparation and experience at the service of medicine and the community.

The year before, I made the decision to give myself body, heart and soul to being at the service of medicine. Through dance and song I bring joy, protection and transformation in the retreats.

✧ Susana Betancur

I am a mother, wife and daughter. Student of sacred plants, human biography and self-care. Co-founder of AMBI Comunidad and faithful guardian of the territory. For more than a decade I have been learning the master plant of Yagé, mainly from the hand of Taita Henry Muchavisoy of the Inga people. And along the way I understood that service in multiple ways gives great meaning to my life.

✧ Juan Daniel Betancur

I am part of the territory and I am focused on learning to provide a better service for the participants of the retreats, helping with the fire, accompaniment to participants, translation, incense, healing and in general seeking harmony during the retreats from love and strength to convey.

✧ Josue Velasquez

I am an instrument willing to transmit the message of nature through music and the songs that I share during ceremonies. Inspiring through innocence and joy and inspiring hearts to shine in purity.

✧ Salomon Borenstein

I am one of the fire men, in charge of maintaining harmony, light and warmth during the ceremonies to make the experience of all participants an unforgettable and very enriching adventure. I also accompany through music, translation, dance and the organization of retreats.
A COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE

Moments of retreat

Our proposal invites those who want to approach Yagé medicine, to make a true commitment to themselves and live, connect the body, the mind, and clear the way to receive this sacred medicine with respect, allowing their work to fulfill the purpose. of its existence. We have noticed with our experience that when the decision is made to attend the meeting and the preparation is assumed responsibly, the result of the experience meets the personal objectives and our purpose of service. It is a pleasure and a quest for us to work with serious and responsible people who are willing to accept change and transformation.
